Cannabis-Infused Mojito (Canna-Mojito) Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 fresh mint sprigs

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or sweetener of choice)

  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

  • 2 oz white rum

  • ½ oz cannabis-infused simple syrup (recipe below)

  • Club soda (to top off)

  • Ice cubes

  • Extra mint and lime for garnish


For Cannabis-Infused Simple Syrup:

  • ½ cup water

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ gram finely ground decarboxylated cannabis (or cannabis tincture for easier infusion)


Instructions:

1. Make Cannabis-Infused Simple Syrup:

  • In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup water and ½ cup sugar.

  • Heat on low, stirring until sugar dissolves.

  • Add finely ground decarboxylated cannabis or cannabis tincture.

  • Simmer on low for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Strain the mixture using cheesecloth to remove plant material (skip this step if using tincture).

  • Let cool, and store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to two weeks.

2. Prepare the Mojito:

  • In a glass, add fresh mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar.

  • Muddle together until the lime juice is released and the mint is fragrant.

  • Add the rum and cannabis-infused simple syrup.

  • Fill the glass with ice cubes and top off with club soda.

  • Stir well, garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.
